Check-out

Why it changed

The old guide was plain and static, with little to interact with. The revamp set out to make it something guests would actually enjoy opening.

I owned it end to end: wrote the tech spec, turned requirements and designs into an implementation plan, chose the packages, implemented the WYSIWYG editing, and built the animations with Motion.

What's new

  • Content follows the guest journey: check-in details on arrival, check-out steps when it's time to go
  • Hosting partners set it up per property: house manual, local guide and house rules
  • A perks section for discounts and add-on services
  • One tap to message the host from any screen
